Hi Jules

I am new to this speed leaque and just want to check if I understand the procedure to get results on the site:
1) Get to the water and make sure the gps is set to 1 or 2 sec interval
2) Do at least a run that qualifies for one of the categories
3) Download the data from the gps with one of the software packages you describe on the "GPS Speed League" page.
4) This then gives me a .gpx file which email to you.

Is that it?

Hi Johan

I'm glad you're interested in giving it go, it's a lot of fun. What I like about it is you don't need a formal event or judges present; just lay down some fast tracks at your local pond while wearing a GPS.

I would recommend you set the reading interval to 1 second, and enable data logging (for GT-11/31) as a backup.

Yes, you must generate a GPX file using GpsResults, GPSAR, Real Speed, etc., then mail it to Jules.

You need to do at least 5 fast runs, at it's based on  the average of your 5 fastest averages over 10 seconds.
