a spectacular race, largest fleet in years with 140 riders!!!
Sebastian Catellan took the honours, first time ever on a kite.
Craig Gertenbach led almost the entire race on a windsurfer, but just past the ore jetty all the windsurfers got nailed by a huge wind hole 
there's some cool video footage taken from the hill in saldanha, hopefully we can post some for viewing
full results and photos coming ASAP!

| Will there be any TV coverage of the event? The south coast festival (or something like that) was on SS2 the other day and that got me wondering, why can't some of the big races like the dash be covered by a TV crew? Wouldn't that help alot in getting sponsors and help the sport grow? Isn't there anyone out there with some connections at Mnet or where ever? Has anyone tried to get a race covered? |
