The Catamaran Club (TCC) is located on Bronkhorstspruit Dam only 15 km outside of the town Bronkhorstspruit in Gauteng. The club is a non-profit wind sport club who’s members sail Hobie 14 & 16s, Dart 18s, Halcats, windsurfers and more!
Founded in 1974, the Club has gone through many growths and expansions. Currently the membership is around 250 members.
The Club is well equipped with a beautiful Clubhouse to call home - complete with DSTV, fully stocked pub, billiards and a catering facility for up to 250 people. Also there for the member’s enjoyment are electricity and water-equipped caravan sites, a swimming pool, children’s playground, volleyball net, a large ablution block, a thatch roof Boma facility right by the water and much more! The Club runs events throughout the year, including our monthly Club regattas, which also provide novices the opportunity to learn from the Club pros!
TCC (The Catamran Club) allows non-members entrance around R50 per person. Membership for board sailors is RXXX per year. This is where most windsurfers sailing at Bronkies gather. There's a core group of about 20 sailors there - we need more. Good rigging area and ablutions.

Winds from thunderstorms are unreliable and severe. The best time is late winter / spring (Aug to Nov) when cold fronts bring good wind from the South West.
