The Navman Maui Speed Challenge 2006 Presented by Naish
Summer is over and and so is the second Navman Maui Speed Challenge. Despite a few weekends of less than stellar winds, 6 races were completed, plenty of fast times were posted, and everyone involved had a great time sailing, competing, and just doing the Maui summer 'hang at the beach' thing. Naish Team Riders showed their stuff, with Jacque Pauvert taking the overall title against serious competition that included Alex Aguera and Anders Bringdal, and Kai Lenny winning his class. Naish GM Andy Church also did well, scoring a couple of medals in the open men category - this made him really stoked about the event! Overall title winners scored gleaming black Naish hand-stenciled carbon toilet seats, designed to take virtually any bathroom to a 'whole new level'. Congratulations from all at Naish and stay tuned for next year. |
