Warm sunny blue skys and a light northely made for an excellent start to the kids windsurf season.

Two new freshy's and the rest of the gang suited up in their flashy new Ion wetsuits and were in the water before we could get high five's all round. A great support effort from MAC, Baysorts and UCT meant we had more equipment than trainers. But once they were rigged and the light breeze kicked in, the kids were on the water and putting the kit to good use.

Mitch was on hand for a recap on uphauling, Waggy style (shot dude!).

And although completely overshadowed by the larger sails, the kids all still got around with ease.

...well, almost all of them.

Before we knew it the day was over and lunch had arrived.

The kit was derigged in seconds and everyone grabbed a pizza.

Big shout out to Butlers for all the food. MAC, Bay Sports and UCT for all the gear. Ocean Spirit for the wetsuits. True South Actuaries for taking care of transportation. Gust mag. And finally; Wolfgang, Waggy, Mitch, Michelle, Peter, Tyrone and Janet for a great personal effort.
