Hi Waggy!

Time for a new thread, what do you think? My question to you (and to all those other fountains of opinion - you know who you are!) is what to do with old kit?

I'm not talking about vintage old here (that you just throw behind the containers @MAC, in the middle of the night), I'm talking about 6 year old kit, that is still in working order but that nobody really wants.

Say for example my first, old wave board: a fantastic JP 255 from 2001 (or so). A brilliant all-round wave-board, sharp rails and loaded with memories (like the 1st time I crapped myself in my wetsuit). No-one wants it, I'm still emotionally attached, but it's taking up space in the garage and collecting dust!

Waggy, help, I need closure...

ok thakos

im starting a museum so all your old kit can be entered into a hall of fame and will be looked after with tender loving care will be bathed in salt water once a week and will be taken on outings to the beach to watch the young guns at it , thats unless its a xantos then it goes to paddocks to the crusher and nakkers yard !!!!!!

Hi there

I know that in the UK, there is a very popular 'windsurf car-boot sale'. Maybe it would be possible to set up something like that at the vlei? This would be a good chance to get those new to the sport/young guns kitted out at small cost, or find a top/bottom for that other half of your broken mast that is lying around in the garage....

Does anybody else think this would work, or is everyone just to fashion conscious for a fantastic 5 yr old JP board these days?

Otherwise, we can just leave it in the capable hands of Waggy, and give it ALL to him!!!
